Solution
The vibratory bowl feed system is designed to automatically sort and feed small metal precision caps. The feed system comprises a bowl feeder, a linear out-feed, and at the end of the system, side shuttle escapement to separate and present one component at a time in two alternate positions for collection by customer’s handling unit.
Bowl Feeder
A vibratory bowl feeder is tooled to sort and feed the component parts before transferring them to the linear out-feeds. Internally lined with a polyurethane coating.
Linear Feeder
Fitted with a tooled track, the linear uses vibration to feed the stream of parts into the escapement.
Escapements and Nests
The pneumatically operated side shuttle escapement separates and presents one component at a time in two alternate positions for collection by customer's handling unit.
