The vibratory bowl feed system is designed to sort and feed small glass encased electrical components. The bowl feeder discharges the components single file, in random end-to-end orientation, at a rate of 100 components per minute.
A vibratory bowl feeder, complete with control box, is tooled to sort and feed the component. The equipment specified is a TAG-Z 200(324)-20-105 aluminium stepped, central-fixing bowl, with a capacity of 1 litre.
An SRC-N 200-2 bowl feeder drive unit, fitted with a stainless steel cover, provides the vibratory motion.
An ESK2001 controller — a dual-voltage 50/60Hz unit approved to CSA/UL/CE — regulates the feed rate.
The EcoType™ series is RNA's standardised range of vibratory bowl feeders for simple, free-flowing component parts without separation, with feed rates of up to 200 parts per minute. Built on vibratory feeder sizes 200–400, EcoType™ bowls are aluminium with a polyurethane internal lining, offering short throughput times and favourable prices due to the simplicity of the part geometry and access to a large database of existing feeding solutions.
