Solution
The bowl feeder system is designed to automatically sort and feed ferrules onto a glass inspection disc for inspection. The feeding system comprises a bulk hopper, a bowl feeder and a Conveyor Out-feed.
Bulk Storage Hopper
The elevating hopper is used to store and transfer component parts on demand into the vibratory bowl feeder.
Vibratory Bowl Feeder
A vibratory sorting bowl is tooled to feed and orientate component parts before transferring them to the conveyor out-feed.
Transfer Conveyor
The mini-band conveyor fitted with tooled side guides transfers component parts from the bowl feeder to the vision inspection station.
