RNA’s FlexType™ P Pack is a standard flexible packing solution that utilises intelligent vibration platforms, coupled with industrial machine vision recognition and a 6-axis robot to feed and handle component parts of various shapes and sizes.
RNA FlexCube™ flexible vibration feeders
Various parts are loaded in bulk into 6 hoppers which dose onto FlexCube™ backlit vibratory platforms. The FlexCube™ complete pre-programmed vibratory cycles to orientate and separate component parts, presenting them to an integrated EYE+ vision system for robot pick.

EYE+ smart control system
The EYE+ vision system inspects the component parts on the FlexCube™ platforms and identifies which are laying in a position suitable for being picked. The coordinates are sent to the robot.
What is EYE+? EYE+ is a control system that manages FlexCube™, hopper, camera and lighting operations. It provides a user-friendly interface to calibrate and to configure new recipes quickly and efficiently.
6-Axis Robot
A 6-axis robot, with a 3 headed end of arm tooling picks different variants and transfers them directly into the bagging machine.
Bagging Machine
Component parts are loaded to the bagging machine via a chute. The bagging machine presents a single opened bag per cycle, before sealing and dropping the bagged parts.
