ROBO-FLEX-B Robot Handling

The new linear flexible ROBO-FLEX B feeding systems for all robot handling.

A linear pre-sorting conveyor to ensure a high volume of component parts to be picked up correctly by a robot.

The pre-sorter is built as a trough system. A drive moves the trough and sorting tracks fixed on it as one unit. Unsorted parts fall into the trough and are sent back to the parts circulation again.

After being sorted, the component parts are transferred to a camera belt for detection and then picked up by a robot. Parts that are not detected go back to the parts circulation which is kept at the same level with a level monitor and an additional hopper.

Thanks to the short changeover times, the system is particularly suitable for applications with changing part dimensions. A low-noise operation and the reproducible orienting elements with up to 20 tracks are further outstanding features.

ROBO-FLEX C

The new linear flexible ROBO-FLEX C feeding systems for all robot handling.

A linear pre-sorting conveyor to ensure a high volume of component parts to be picked up correctly by a robot. A ‘Catamaran’ construction.

This patented catamaran design carries the sorting tracks with two linear drives attached in parallel. Parts that fall off the sorting tracks are immediately caught up by a separate return belt running in opposite direction and then brought back to the parts circulation again. The catamaran allows for very flat and wide types of construction. What is unique about this is that it can be designed as a double system which enables two different components to be processes at the same time.

The new flexible ROBO-FLEX P feeding system with intelligent vibration platforms.

RNA has developed a new, flexible feeding system ROBO-FLEX P based on Asyril’s Asycube 3-axis vibration platform technology.

An intelligent Asycube vibration platform provides a high volume of correctly oriented component parts for the robotic pickup.

Targeted movements in xyz direction can be programmed on a vibration platform. The component parts are moved so efficiently with regards to their nature that a high volume of parts is fed and orientated for the robotic pickup. Compared to the uncontrolled vibration platforms, higher cycles are achieved this way. The free programming of the throw of parts makes it possible to even put up longish parts or to fill chambers that are fixed directly on the plate.

Based on a modular system, RNA also provide double systems, as illustrated, with two vibration plates for independent parallel operation. They are available with optional features like hoppers, quick discharge and recirculation of parts for short retooling times.
