Solution

The vibratory bowl feed system is designed to automatically sort and feed clips. The bowl feeder discharges the components vertically, barbed head uppermost and base inline, with edges permitted to overlap, at a rate of 60 components per minute.

Bowl Feeder

A vibratory bowl feeder is tooled to orientate the clip component as described above. The equipment specified is a TAG-Z 200-10-80 stepped cast aluminium bowl with central fixing, feeding anti-clockwise. The bowl top is finished black anodised.

Drive Unit

An SRC-N 160-2 drive unit, anti-clockwise, 200V 60Hz, CSA/UL approved, with a mild steel cover, provides the vibratory motion.
