Bowl Feeder to Feed and Orient Automotive Clips

Bowl Feeder to Feed and Orient Automotive Clips

RNA Vibratory bowl feeding and handling system designed to feed and orient automotive clips.

Product:

Spring Clips

Speed:

Up to 15 components per minute

Key features:

● Stepped Bowl design
● Heavy-duty polyurethane coating
● Smooth, gentle handling

Solution

The bowl feeder system automatically sorts and feeds clips. The system includes a clip bowl feeder, a linear feeder, and, at the end of the feed line, an escapement that separates the parts before they are delivered individually to a robot for collection.

Vibratory Bowl Feeder

A vibratory sorting bowl is tooled to feed and orient the clip parts before transferring them in a single stream to the linear outfeed.

Linear Feeder

The vibratory linear feeder features a single-lane, tooled track about 600 mm long and is equipped with a high-level sensor that feeds the parts stream into the escapement.

Side Shuttle Escapement

A pneumatic side shuttle escapement separates and presents one part at a time for the robot to collect.
