FlexType ST

The new FlexType ST Step Feeder – cost-effective, reliable, and equipped with enhanced features

The BaseType STS step feeder from RNA.

The new generation of RNA Step Feeders – the FlexType ST Series – is now available in two different sizes with enhanced features.

Each size includes an integrated stationary hopper with a low filling height for easy manual loading. For larger quantities of parts, band hoppers are also available. Hopper volume, maximum filling weight, number of steps, and step depth are all configurable to meet specific application requirements.

As a basic device for part feeding, the step feeder is designed so that the stationary hopper, with its low filling height, can be easily filled by hand. The hopper size can be adjusted depending on the application and the component parts. The parts are conveyed upward by counter-rotating lifting plates from the hopper bin, reaching the desired transfer height without the need for additional conveyor technology. The upward transport and the shape of the lifting plates allow for pre-sorting of the parts during the process.

The FlexType ST Step Feeder operates quietly and without vibration. With a range of integrated linear sorting options, the FlexType ST series provides a powerful overall solution for applications where traditional feeding systems may not be suitable. The system can achieve high output rates, even for parts with very small orientation features.
