Poka Yoke in Manufacturing

Poka Yoke, also known as mistake-proofing, is a technique for avoiding simple human errors at work. The idea was originally developed in the 1960s by Shigeo Shingo who was one of the IE engineers at Toyota.

Automated Sorting and Separation for Busbars

The world’s leading manufacturer in furniture cable management systems A&H Meyer approached RNA to design and develop a flexible automation system to sort, separate and feed busbars. The project required a complete solution that can handle 12 different lengths of flat and crimped busbars, and with a need to ensure that the retooling changeover time between all 12 variants is minimised.
