Flex Picker type robot systems can be dosed parts with a specific gap via the pouch feed system, a typical flow wrapper and cartoning machine can be loaded directly without the aid of an operator or robot. Feed speeds of up to 400 per minute are possible and the system can even condition crumpled or crushed packages to their original shape such as crisp bags or salted snacks. Higher feed speeds and ultra fast product changeover between different packages are all possible without any complicated reprogramming of the machine.
